26 вересня у рамках роботи клубу молодих і креативних «Територія Науки» в обласній бібліотеці відбулася година експерта «Правила формування заявки на отримання патенту». Метою заходу стало інформування студентської молоді щодо оформлення порядку документів на винахід, корисну модель та промисловий зразок. Участь у заході взяли представники вищих навчальних закладів міста, міського товариства дослідників, фахівці з питань винахідництва та патентознавства, студентська молодь.
На зустрічі обговорювалися питання проведення патентного пошуку та етапи патентування винаходу. Запрошеними фахівцями була надана кваліфікована безкоштовна консультація зі складання заявок на об’єкти промислової власності, а також запропонована інформаційна підтримка на всіх стадіях процесу набуття охорони інтелектуальної власності.
Патентний повірений України В. П. Довгий ознайомив учасників заходу з основними аспектами патентного пошуку, захисту інтелектуальної власності, навів статистку щодо подання заявок на патенти, а також ознайомив з основними документами та організаціями, до яких можна подавати заявки на патентування нового винаходу чи корисної моделі.
Про особливості реєстрації промислового зразку з точки зору інтелектуальної власності ознайомив патентний повірений України М.О. Топунов. Під час виступу було акцентовано увагу на вимоги до оформлення патенту та строки його дії.
Доктор філософії технічних наук, академік Української Академії Наук, член колегії ГО «Миколаївське товариство дослідників» Г.Б. Вільський окреслив коло питань, над якими слід попрацювати науковцям для покращення життя миколаївської громади. Також він підкреслив всю важливість та необхідність розвитку інтелектуальної власності в Україні.
До початку та після засідання учасники заходу мали можливість ознайомитися з новими науковими, науково-популярними та довідковими виданнями з фондів бібліотеки, що були представлені на книжковій виставці «Патент: від ідеї до втілення».

A meeting with patent attorneys of Ukraine was held
On September 26, in the framework of the Club of Young and Creative «Territory of Science» in the regional library, an expert hour «Rules for the Formation of a Patent Application» took place in the regional library. The purpose of the event was to inform student youth about the order of documents for the invention, utility model and industrial design. Participation in the event was attended by representatives of higher educational establishments of the city, city society of researchers, specialists in the field of invention and patenting, student youth.
The meeting discussed the issue of patent search and the stages of patenting the invention. The invited specialists were provided with a qualified free consultation on the preparation of applications for industrial property objects, as well as information support was offered at all stages of the process of acquiring intellectual property protection.
Patent Attorney of Ukraine V.P. Dovgyi acquainted the participants of the event with the main aspects of patent search, protection of intellectual property, filed a patent application form, as well as acquainted with the main documents and organizations to which applications for patenting a new invention or utility model could be filed and with fees for obtaining a patent.
Patent Attorney M.O. was acquainted with the peculiarities of registration of an industrial design from the point of view of intellectual property. Topunov During the speech, the attention was focused on the requirements for the registration of a patent and its validity.
G.B. Vilsky, Doctor of Philosophy of Engineering, Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Collegium of the «Mykolaiv Society of Researchers» outlined the issues that should be worked on by scientists to improve the life of the Mykolaiv community. He also emphasized the importance and necessity of development of intellectual property in Ukraine.
Before and after the meeting the participants of the event had an opportunity to get acquainted with the new scientific, popular and reference publications from the library funds that were presented at the book exhibition «Patent: from idea to incarnation».
