7 листопада у бібліотеці відбувся захід – історична панорама «Довгий шлях до об’єднання», присвячений знаковій події в історії Німеччини – падінню Берлінської стіни.
Присутні на заході студенти МНАУ імені В.Сухомлинського, Миколаївського політехнічного коледжу, користувачі бібліотеки переглянули документальне відео про події листопада 1989 р. та здійснили віртуальну прогулянку вздовж Берлінського муру.
Спеціальний гість заходу, керівник Миколаївського обласного центру німецької культури Дмитро Цегельний розповів про причини та історію побудови Берлінської стіни та нагадав про цікаві артефакти культурної спадщини після її падіння.
На виставці були представлені книги та періодичні видання з фонду бібліотеки, присвячені історії Німеччини від часів Другої світової війни до сьогодення.

The Historic Panorama of The Long Way to Reunion took place at the Library
The separation of thousands of families, the split of fates and the whole people - so in the history books are still called paragraphs about the Berlin Wall. It divided families, the city and the whole nation. 30 years ago, the Berlin Wall fell. It was dismantled for souvenirs: in the German capital, you can now buy a piece. Large fragments of the wall spread around the world. There is one in the Ukrainian capital, near the German Embassy.
On Nov. 7, the Historic Panorama of The Long Way to Reunion took place at the Library.
The event is attended by students of V.O. Sukhomlinsky Mykolaiv National University, Mykolaiv Polytechnic College, library users watched a documentary video of the November 1989 events and made a virtual "walk" along the Berlin Wall.
Special guest of the event, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Center of German Culture Dmitry Tsegelny told about the reasons and background of the Berlin Wall and recalled the interesting artifacts of the cultural heritage after its fall.
The exhibition featured books and periodicals from the library collection dedicated to the history of Germany from the time of World War II to the present.
