8 жовтня за ініціативою Інформаційно-ресурсного центру міжнародного партнерства МОУНБ відбулася чергова онлайн-зустріч з учасницею Програми для майбутніх лідерів (FLEX) Дашею Казимир.
Під час спілкування Даша розповіла про свою участь у даній програмі, зокрема проходження всіх трьох відбіркових турів, участь у передвиїзній орієнтації, особливості адаптації та проживання у новій родині у штаті Джорджія (США), навчання і волонтерську діяльність у своїй школі, подорожі навколо США, а також підтримку учасників Програми, що перебувають у США, з боку кураторів. Також розповіла про теплі та дружні стосунки, що зараз підтримує вона і її родина із сім`єю, яка її приймала.
Спікер порадила всім, хто може бути учасником Програми, не боятися спробувати свої сили, незважаючи на рівень англійської мови, оскільки цього року заявка заповнюється вонлайн-режимі, а це дозволяє повернутися до аплікаційної форми та редагувати її до відправлення. Вона зазначила, що участь у цій Програмі– унікальна можливість перевірити себе та свої знання, стати більш впевненою у собі, пізнати культуру іншої країни, а також познайомити американців з українською культурою та набути життєвого досвіду.
Також гостя розповіла про волонтерську діяльність у центрі "Вікно в Америку" після повернення з США, зокрема про участь у засіданнях англійського розмовного клубу «Діалог».
Спікер зазначила, що наразі вивчає «Медіа і комунікації» у Карлов університеті (Чехія),а до цього навчалася рік у бізнес-школі при Чеському Технічному інституті на факультеті «Економіка і менеджмент» і багато в чому бути успішною їй допомагає участь у програмі FLEX. Окрім того, Даша поділилася деякими своїми планами на майбутнє.

Online meeting with a participant of the Program for Future Leaders (FLEX)
On October 8, at the initiative of the Information and Resource Center of the International Partnership, was held another online meeting with Dasha Kazymyr, a participant of the Program for Future Leaders (FLEX).
During the conversation, Dasha spoke about her participation in this program, including all three qualifying rounds, participation in pre-travel orientation, features of adaptation and living in a new family in Georgia (USA), studying and volunteering at her school, traveling around the US, and support from program curators in the United States by curators. She also spoke about the warm and friendly relationship with her family now maintain with the host family.
The speaker advised everyone who can be a participant of the Program not to be afraid to try their hand, regardless of the level of English, because this year the application is filled out online, which allows you to return to the application form and edit it before sending. She noted that participating in this Program is a unique opportunity to test yourself and your knowledge, become more confident, learn about the culture of another country, as well as introduce Americans to Ukrainian culture and gain life experience.
The guest also spoke about volunteering at the Window on America Center after returning from the United States, in particular about participating in meetings of the English Conversation Club «Dialogue».
The speaker noted that she is currently studying «Media and Communications» at Charles University(Czech Republic), and before that she studied for a year at the Business School at the Czech Technical Institute at the Faculty of Economics and Management. In addition, Dasha shared some of her plans for the future.
