У бібліотеці вшанували пам'ять жертв Голокосту

28 січня у бібліотеці відбулася година пам’яті «Уроки Голокосту: мужність, пам’ять, співчуття». Захід, приурочений до Міжнародного дня пам’яті жертв Голокосту, зібрав молодь, дорослих, людей поважного віку, що цікавляться історією, хочуть дізнатися більше про один із найкривавіших злочинів проти людства.
На початку заходу хвилиною мовчання вшанували пам’ять невинно вбитих. Із вступним словом до присутніх звернулася голова Ради національних товариств Миколаївської області Лоліта Каймаразова. Велику частину заходу присвятили подіям Голокосту на півдні України. Зокрема, студент ЧНУ ім. Петра Могили Ігор Сябро виступив із доповіддю «Знищення єврейського населення під час окупації Миколаївщини». Окрему увагу присвятили трагічним подіям у с. Богданівка Доманівського району Миколаївської обл., де загалом було знищено близько 55 тис. місцевих євреїв, а також зібраних з Одеси, вінницьких таборів, Молдавської РСР тощо.
Працівники бібліотеки ознайомили присутніх з найвідомішими художніми фільмами про гоніння та знищення єврейського народу під час Другої світової війни та підготували книжкову виставку, де були представлені матеріали конференцій, монографії миколаївських істориків, краєзнавців про події Голокосту в Україні та на Миколаївщині.
Усі присутні дійшли висновку, що страшні події Голокосту стануть нагадуванням для прийдешніх поколінь про цінність братерства людей та народів.

The library commemorated the victims of the Holocaust
On January 28, an hour of memory «Lessons of the Holocaust: Courage, Memory, Compassion» took place in the library. The event, dedicated to the International Day of Holocaust Remembrance, gathered young people, adults, people of respectable age interested in history, want to learn more about one of the most bloody crimes against humanity.
In the beginning of the event, one minute of silence, they paid tribute to the memory of innocent victims. An introductory speech was made by the chairman of the Council of National Societies of the Mykolaiv region, Lolita Kaymarazova. A significant part of the event was devoted to the events of the Holocaust in the south of Ukraine. In particular, the student of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University Igor Syabro made a report «Destruction of the Jewish population during the occupation of Mykolaiv region». Particular attention was devoted to tragic events in the Bogdanivka village, Domanivsky district, Mykolaiv region, where about 55 thousand local Jews were killed in general and also collected from Odessa, Vinnytsia camps, the Moldavian SSR, and others.
The library staff acquainted the audience with the most famous feature films about persecution and extermination of the Jewish people during the Second World War and prepared a book exhibition where materials of conferences, monographs of Mykolaiv historians, ethnographers about the events of the Holocaust in Ukraine and in Mykolaiv region were presented.
All those present came to the conclusion that the terrible events of the Holocaust would be a reminder to future generations of the value of fraternization among people.
