9 лютого в обласній науковій бібліотеці стартував соціальний проєкт «Гірьовий спорт – свідома молодь, майбутнє нації», ініційований громадською організацією «Рома України «Терніпе». Метою проєкту, що триватиме з лютого по червень поточного року, є формування соціально-активної спільноти ромських та українських підлітків Миколаєва через залучення до спортивних активностей. Окрім спортивного блоку, проєктом передбачений просвітницький блок, у рамках якого в обласній науковій бібліотеці відбудуться 8 інтерактивних заходів за участю правозахисників та діячів культури. Розпочався проєкт з інтеграційної зустрічі «Питання дискримінації у сучасному світі», модератором якої стала членкиня ГО «Рома України «Терніпе» Ізаура Дріма. Учасники зустрічі переглянули художній фільм «Зелена книга» та під час його обговорення висловили свою думку щодо випадків дискримінації у сучасному суспільстві, причин, що породжують такі ситуації, та можливостей запобігти їм.

A social project has started «Mountain sports - conscious youth, the future of the nation»
On February, 9th the social project "Mountain sport - conscious youth, the future of the nation", initiated by the public organization "Roma of Ukraine" Ternipe" has started in the regional scientific library. The purpose of the project, which will last from February to June this year, is to form a socially active community of Roma and Ukrainian adolescents of Mykolaiv through involvement in sports activities. In addition to the sports block, the project envisages an educational block, within which 8 interactive events with the participation of human rights activists and cultural figures will take place in the regional scientific library. The project on the integration meeting “Discrimination Issues in the Modern World” has started, moderated by Isaura Drim, a member of the Roma NGO Ternipe. The participants of the meeting watched the Green Book feature film and during their discussion expressed their opinion on the cases of discrimination in modern society, the reasons that give rise to such situations and the possibilities to prevent them.
