Webinar «Social networks as a tool for image positioning of libraries»

On October 8, a webinar «Social networks as a tool for image positioning of libraries» was held on the Zoom platform as part of the «BiblioSTUDIES» webcoaching for library workers in the region.

Moderator of the event - Head of the Department of the Center for Computer Technologies, trainer of the Regional Training Center of the Mykolaiv Regional Universal Scientific Library Svetlana Dubina introduced specialists to the variety of social networks and the possibilities of using them in libraries. She gave the best examples of the use of social networks by libraries around the world.

She dwelled in detail on the most used networks of multi-format content and gave advice on maintaining pages

Trainer noted that today libraries are quite actively using social networks, thus changing the principle of communication with a remote user: it is not the user who «comes» to information through the library site, but the information created by the library «leaves» to the user using the social network.
