8 листопада в Інформаційно-ресурсному центрі міжнародного партнерства відбулося чергове засідання англійського розмовного клубу "Діалог", яке підготувала та провела учасниця Fulbright Graduate Student Program та волонтерка центру Альона Павленко. Цікавості та певної гостроти заходу надали участь у ньому американців, які тимчасово проживають у Миколаєві.
Разом з лідеркою учасники обговорили тему "Вибори Президента у США", зокрема особливості виборчої системи у США, діяльність колегії вибірників та її роль у виборчому процесі, особливості голосування за штатами та процес визначення переможця.
Окрім того, учасники обговорили вплив результатів виборів на політичну та економічну ситуацію у світі та відносини з Україною.
Наприкінці зустрічі присутні переглянули відеозвернення Джозефа Байдена та поговорили про основні тези його промови.

US Presidential Election
On November 8, the Information and Resource Center of the International Partnership hosted a regular meeting of the English Conversation Club "Dialogue", which was prepared and conducted by a participant of the Fulbright Graduate Student Program and a volunteer of the center Alyona Pavlenko. Curiosity and a certain sharpness of the event were given to the participation of Americans living temporarily in Mykolaiv.
Together with the leader, the participants discussed the topic "Presidential Elections in the United States", in particular the peculiarities of the electoral system in the United States, the activities of the Electoral College and its role in the electoral process, the peculiarities of state voting and the winner.
In addition, the participants discussed the impact of the election results on the political and economic situation in the world and relations with Ukraine.
At the end of the meeting, the audience watched a video address by Joseph Biden and talked about the main points of his speech.
