22 листопада відбулося чергове онлайн-засідання англійського розмовного клубу «Діалог» на платформі ZOOM. Особливістю даної зустрічі було те, що до неї долучилися декілька представників з Гонконгу та Китаю.
Дана зустріч була присвячена одному з найпопулярніших американських свят – Дню подяки.
Разом з лідером та волонтером Центру Владиславом Сегедою учасники дізналися про історію та сучасні традиції святкування Дня подяки в Америці та інших англомовних країнах. Присутні обговорили кулінарні традиції святкування, традицію помилування індички, декорування будинків та проведення вільного часу всіма членами родини, яка збирається разом, та інші традиції, що стосуються цього свята, а також книги та фільми, присвячені Дню подяки та рекомендовані для перегляду всією родиною.
Наступна зустріч відбудеться 29 листопада о 15.30 на платформі ZOOM.

English Speaking Club «Dialogue»
On November 22, a regular meeting of the English speaking club "Dialogue" took place online via the ZOOM platform. The peculiarity of this meeting was that it was joined by several representatives from Hong Kong and China.
This meeting was dedicated to one of the most popular American holidays, Thanksgiving.
Together with the leader and volunteer of the Center Vladyslav Segeda, the participants learned about the history and modern traditions of celebrating Thanksgiving in America and other English-speaking countries. In particular, the participants discussed the culinary traditions of the celebration, the tradition of pardoning turkeys, decorating houses and spending free time with all family members and other interesting traditions related to this holiday. They also discussed books and movies dedicated to Thanksgiving and recommended for viewing family.
In addition, the participants shared their views on the spread of popularity of this holiday in the world.
Our next meeting will take place on November 29 at 3.30 pm on the ZOOM platform.
